The Jama’atul Izalatil Bid’a Wa’kamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) yesterday commissioned a new hospital built by the organisation at the Anguwan Rimi community  of Jos north Local government area of the Plateau state.

According to Sheik Sani Yahaya Jingir who is the chairman of the group, it has become very necessary for the organisation to build the hospital, saying offering medical treatment to humanity was one of the teachings of Islam.

The chairman while speaking to journalists at the premises of the Sunnah Hospital during the ceremony noted that the presence of a hospital in any given society was imperative to the development of the area, adding that such motive coupled with Islamic teachings had indeed prompted the organisation to embark and show their solidarity to such projects.

Also Speaking at the occasion, the governor of Plateau state, Barrister Simon Lalong, who is the Guest Host of the event, represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Barrister Gambo Awaja, promised to offer all necessary support to all private health care centres including the commissioned Sunnah Hospital to help give sufficient and efficient services to the citizens of the community.
