Jay FM vows to continue to support Plateau united football club

Authorities of Jay FM Jos on Thursday called on citizens of Plateau state to continue to support Plateau United Football Club .

We categorically state that we accept totally ,the official apology of the management of Plateau United football club and commend the General Manager Mr Pius Henwan for taking responsibility for the condemnable actions of some members of the supporters club .

 

Station manager of Jay FM Mr Mangna Yusuf Wamyil who addressed a press conference in Jos said following the widely reported incident that occurred on Saturday 24 the of March 2018 when Ferdinand Mbum a staff of Jay FM was assaulted and abducted after an invasion of our premises by thugs led by Plateau united supporters club chairman ,I on behalf of staff and management of our station wishes to express our solemn appreciation to the Nigerian Broadcasting commission   Jos zonal  office ,National President of sports Writers Association of Nigeria Mr Honour Sirawoo ,sports journalist in West Africa ,All Journalist and on air personalities Plateau state Nigerian Union of Journalist who stood with us throughout the challenge moment we have had to endure ,our Joy knows no bounds knowing we belong to the National family of Journalist and broadcasters in our short period of existence .

We appreciate your kindness and pray for a day we would be able to payback in good measure .

We commend Mr Yakubu Dati the commissioner of information in Plateau state for his commitment to an amicable resolution of the impasse between us and Plateau united football club ,his efforts and timely intervention was instrumental to the brokerage of peace and astounding understanding which now defines the bond of brotherhood and friendship between us and all parties involved .

Our love and support for Plateau united football club remains unchanged ,we would continue to follow and cover their stories within and outside the county ,in the hope that they would do us proud again like they did last season when they won the Nigerian professional Football league in our very own Rwang Pam Township  Stadium before the eyes of our people who troop out in their thousands to witness that historic occasion .

We Herby wish to appeal to many of our listeners who withdrew support for Plateau united football club on account of the forgiven and forgotten incident to promptly re consider and join us on a timeless journey to make Plateau state great again through the exploits of our darling team
