I would not rest until lasting peace is restored in Plateau – Lalong

Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong on Sunday said the rescue Government will not rest on its quest to bringing lasting peace in the state.
The state government also called on residents of the state to contribute to the peace process in the state .
Lalong who was represented by the state commissioner for information and communication Yakubu Dati stated this at the closing ceremony and finals of the peace football tournament organised by the special task force ,Operation safe Haven. (OPSH) in Jos.
The Governor said that every resident of Plateau must contribute to peaceful communal life,saying the rescue Government will not rest on its quest to bringing lasting peace in the state.
There was performance by various artist, special task force and many others as
Kabong and mista Ali youths made it to the finals of the tournament .
Our correspondent reports that top Government officials, security chiefs and Royal fathers graced the event held at The Rwang Pam Township stadium
