Former Governor of Plateau State and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria during the 7th/8th Senate, Senator Joshua Dariye has disclosed that he is not the owner of the social media accounts bearing his name and being used by persons he considered as Fraudsters and Mischief Makers.

Senator Dariye in a statement said the disclaimer became imperative following some mischievous posts emanating from some social media handles bearing his name.
He said the accounts are fake and not his, admonishing the general public not to fall preys to the antics of those behind the accounts.

He said “It is sad that some mischief makers and scammers used my name and pictures to operate social media accounts just to mislead and defraud the general public. Let it be known that the accounts are fake and pseudonyms. I am not the person behind the accounts. I hereby urge the public to disregard posts and comments emanating from the Accounts. The general public should also not have any transactions with the accounts in order to avoid being defrauded”

He said the accounts below are fake and not his.
