The Hon. Commissioner for Youths and Sports Development, Hon. Victor Lapang today played Host to various Youths Groups, Sports Associations amongst other notable Organisations.
Hon Victor Lapang who had first in attendance, the Exco of the Plateau Youth Council ably led by its Chairman Comr, Lot Adas, intimated the Commissioner on their Visit, stating that they where in his Office to formally introduce themselves and present their plans and activities to the Ministry after a successful conduct of the elections.
The Chairman who reiterated their commitment to see that they work in synergy with the Ministry so that Plateau Youths benefit from Government Initiatives and Programs, highlighted various challenges facing the Youths Council which is Hampering the smooth progress of the Council.
In His Response, the Hon. Commissioner thanked the Plateau Youth Council for the Visit and promised to take their Request to the appropriate quarters for prompt action assuring them of a cordial working relationship for the good of All Plateau Youths.
Similarly Hon. Victor Lapang also entertained the Plateau State Hockey Association, Fabricators Association of Plateau, Jos University Medical Association, North Central Youths Parliament.
In their Separate remarks, the Leadership of these Groups appreciated the Ministry for operating an Open Door Policy which has seen alot of activities being carried out in the State.They further stressed for close collaboration with Government as their plans and activities wouldn’t be achieved without the acceptance of Government and it’s Agencies.
Responding to the various group the Hon. Commissioner promised to take into consideration all Pleas and Challenges with a view of seeing that these issues are treated with utmost seriousness and attention.
The Visits culminated with prayers and photo sessions with the Hon. Commissioner, Ministry, State and Nigeria at Large.
