The Member representing Riyom Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly and Chairman House Committee on Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Timothy Dantong is felicitates with all Muslim Ummah in his Constituency and the world over as they complete the fasting period and celebrate El-Al-Fitr.

Hon. Dantong described the celebration as one of love, peace and oneness.

He charged the Muslim Ummah to pray for the restoration of peace and work collectively towards overcoming the numerous challenges confronting the Nation.

He prayed God to reward the sacrifices and commitment of the Muslims in this period and beyond.

He said though the times are hard, he urged all to remain positive, optimistic and patriotic to the Nation.

While wishing them a hitch free and peaceful celebration, the Legislator charged them to adhere to all preventive measures advised by health Experts as well as government directives aimed at curbing the global health threat posed by the Novel Coronavirus pandemic which he said has adversely affected economic, social, religious, cultural and political activities.
