Hon. Timothy Dantong Hosts Riyom PDP Stakeholders, Assures them of All-inclusive and Credible Representation

The Honorable Member representing Riyom Constituency and Chairman Plateau State House of Assembly Committee on Housing, Hon. Timothy Dantong hosted PDP Stakeholders (Elders, Party Executives and his Campaign Team) to appreciate them for the massive supports accorded him that translated to the resounding victory the party recorded in Riyom Local Government Area not only to him but all through the general elections.

He assured the stakeholders of his readiness to run an all-inclusive, proactive, credible and pragmatic leadership.

The lawmaker presented the scorecard of his legislative engagements so far which include payment of WAEC Fees to 65 Students in the constituency, sensitive motions/matters of importance he has raised, bills he is working on and his resolved to attract people-oriented projects to the constituency.

Hon. Dantong said he is more concerned about PLASIEC and the present government inability to conduct Local Government Election in Riyom LGA which will enhance development to the grassroot.

He urged the Stakeholders to hold him accountable as their representative, promised to give proper account of his stewardship and called on them not to hesitate to draw his attention anytime he is derailing.

He promised to run a transparent, open and accountable representation where integrity will be the watch word.
He promised not to fail them in his constitutional responsibilities of lawmaking, oversight function and effective representation.

In their separate remarks, the stakeholders commended him for the unprecedented idea and lauded his exceptional performance so far.

They appreciated him and other PDP Legislators in the State Assembly for always protecting the interest of the people and speaking against impunity and unlawful tendencies of the present administration.

They frowned at the injustice meted on the people of Riyom LGA for the non conduct of Local Government Elections so that they can vote for credible persons who can represent them.

The Party in the Area commended him for carrying them along in all his activities.

They urged him to work towards uniting the party and attract meaningful projects to the Constituency.

They encouraged him to continue the good works he is doing and the exceptional representation he is providing describing him as a fearless, focused, visionary and credible Leader.

They also appreciated him for the payment of WAEC to students of the Constituency and promised to give him the much needed supports for him to succeed.

They commended all PDP Legislators for being proactive and dispensing vibrant representation.

They promised to continue to pray for him and accord the much needed support to the party as it is the most loved and popular in the area.

Wife of the Honorable Member, Mrs. Rahila Dantong, PhD appreciated the stakeholders for being there for the Legislator and admonished them to continue to support him both spiritually and morally for him to succeed. She said she was overwhelmed with the turnout of the stakeholders and assured them that the Lawmaker will not disappoint the trust and confidence reposed in him but justify same with optimal performance.

The dinner meeting took place at his residence in Jos and was well attended by crème de la crème of the PDP in Riyom Local Government Area.
