Hon. Beni Lar Member Representing Langtang North/Langtang South Federal constituency of Plateau State in the National Assembly says she is saddened over the death of Mallam Adamu Gagdi father of Hon. Yusuf Gagdi Member Representing Pankshin, Kanke Kanam federal constituency who died in the early hours of Thursday 16th July 2020.

Hon. Beni Lar in statement signed by her Media Aide, Mr Dogo Nanzing commiserated with family, friends and associates of the Islamic cleric , who served his Community with fear of God, diligence, commitment and patriotism.

The Federal lawmaker said ” The late Alhaji Adamu Gagdi was a dependable and reliable father who put the interests of the people above all.
The demise of the renowned and respectable Islamic cleric and the Imam of Gum-Gagdi Mosque, Kanam local government council of Plateau State, is a great loss to his immediate family, community and Plateau State in general.

Hon Beni Lar stressed that “We share in this hour of grief over the departure of Baba Adamu Gagdi who lived an exemplary life and also demonstrated the fear of Allah and respect for humanity throughout his life time. He dedicated himself to raising children in the way of Allah who have turned out to be major contributors to their immediate communities Plateau state and the nation as a whole. He will surely be missed.”

She prays Almighty Allah to grant the soul of Baba Adamu Gagdi eternal rest and also comfort the family and the entire people of Plateau state .
