Hon Amurundu  put smiles on the faces of his constituents

The honourable member representing Bokkos constituency in the Plateau state house of Assembly, Hon. Amurudu Usaini put smiles on the faces of his constituents as he empowers hundred of them with various items and cash.

The event took place at the Bokkos local government secretariat. VPN gathered that the empowerment program was a continuation of his constituency projects commissioning carried out earlier this year and also in line with his blueprint towards a people’s centred leadership.

Various items which include Sewing machines, water pumps, wheelchairs, grinding machines, shoe-making machines and fertilizer were shared. the demographic of beneficiaries includes men, women, youths and people with disabilities cutting across the 14 federal wards of the local government. Hundreds of petty traders were also given cash to support their various businesses.

The occasion was attended by high dignitaries from within and outside the local government among whom are; Hon. Joseph Guluwa, the executive chairman of Bokkos local government; Hon. Gimba Dauda, the council Deputy chairman; Hon. Luka Makut; Chief Ayuba Burki; Hon. Wallangko; Chief Michael Maqual Kuba, The Registrar College of Education Gindiri; DG PLASMIDA, traditional rulers, religious leaders, party faithful, supporters and well-wishers.

In their different remarks, the beneficiaries thank the honourable member for keeping to his words even after losing the primary elections and promised to use the items judiciously.
