Jos — Former chairman of Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau State, Hitler Fankun Dadi, has declared intention to contest for the Langtang North/South Federal Constituency seat.

Dadi, who is of the All Progressives Congress (APC) spoke of his aspiration in an interview with newsmen in Jos and vowed to defeat whoever the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presents as candidate. The seat is currently occupied by Beni Lar of the PDP. It is not clear if Lar would be recontesting the seat as it is being speculated that she might go for a higher political position.

Dadi said he was sure of victory in the 2015 election unless the PDP, which currently constitutes the state government, does not provide a level playing field.
