Viewpoint Nigeria confirmed that the Jos High Court No. 5 being presided by Justice D. D. Longjin today adjourned to 30th, 31st October & 1st November, 2018 the case of financial misappropriation filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against the Former Governor of Plateau against Senator representing Plateau Northern District, His Excellency Sen. Jonah Jang and Mr. Yusuf Gyang Pam.

Justice D. D. Longji of Plateau High Court adjourned hearing on the criminal case of corruption being instituted on Sen. Jang & Mr. Yusuf over failure of the EFCC to produce a witness in Court.

Rotimi Jacob, SAN who is the Council to EFCC informed the Court that they could not produce a single witness in court, citing security as reason for their inability to produce a witness.

Robert Clarke, SAN Council to Da Senator Jonah David Jang and Yusuf Gyang Pam was visibly unhappy when in his words said “justice delayed is justice denied” “How can the EFCC claim that they could not produce witnesses in court for security reasons while the EFCC is a security agency in itself. The EFCC is in possession of arms, how can they complain of security?”
