A non-governmental organisation, Paradise Mission in Collaboration with a Port Harcourt based Philanthropist, Chief Mrs Grace Dickson has Distributed foods items as Palliative to over 400 Widows, Orphans, less privileged and Physically Challenged persons in Jos Plateau State.

The Poor and needy who trooped in large numbers saw the group distributing Bags of rice, Maize, Beans, Noddles, tubers of yam among others.

Speaking at the event, the founder of Paradise mission, Chief Mrs Jane Egbo Said what inspired them to do this noble gesture was owing to the challenges and Suffering the poor faced in the Society Since the COVID-19 Pandemic started.

“People today find it very difficult to feed especially widows whose breadwinners are no more this gave me pains in the heart” She Said.

According to her when the thought came, a friend based in Rivers State along with her friends Contributed and donated N500,000 to Support the noble gesture.

“Her Organisation has so far distributed food items to some of notable Orphanages in jos which include Gidan Bege, Clapai, Zawan Orphanage among others”.

She urged the beneficiaries to see the gesture as part their Contributions to help their Plight as government can’t do it alone

“Service to humanity has always been my passion and the little we can offer in the Society will go a long way to alleviate the sufferings of the masses” she added.

Two of the beneficiaries Martha Dung and Grace moses applauded the noble gesture of the organisation, prayed for God’s blessing upon them and their families

They said what Organisation has done for them will Continue to linger in their hearts as hope have been restored in their lives and many persons will benefit from the food distributed.

The event witnessed large turn out of widows from various Parts of Jos metropolis to receive food items.
