Greater Together Network, a group of men, women and youth with the aim of bring people together and enhancing socioeconomic growth and development of Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole paid a Solidarity visit to Plateau State PDP Chairman, Hon. Damishi T. Sango and his Executives on Wednesday 17th May, 2017 at the State Secretariat of the Party along Yakubu Gowon Way Jos, Plateau State.

The visit who saw Coordinators and supporters of the Group across the 17 LGAs of the group was well attended irrespective of tribal, ethnic, religious, political affiliations as well as social status as persons who were apolitical were among those who graced the occasion.

*PRESS RELEASE ON SOLIDARITY VISIT OF THE GREATER TOGETHER TEAM TO PLATEAU STATE PDP EXECUTIVE*

*17th May, 2017*

We want to start by appreciating God Almighty, for the wisdom and grace thus far granted to the leadership of Plateau State PDP as led by Hon. Damishi Sango who together with his EXCO have credibly steered the affairs of our party.

At a time like this when all hands is required to be on deck on the onerous task of providing sound and well laid out alternative direction in our nation, We the Greater Together team are saddened by the attempt to create division and faction in Plateau PDP.

We condemn in strong terms the attempt to forcefully take over our State party Secretariat by those who were never elected to serve the party in executive positions. We are witnesses to the election which produced the current party leadership led by Hon. Damishi Sango and will continue to respect the decision of our party members who out of their volition overwhelmingly voted into office Hon. Sango and his executives.

It is instructive to note that the election which produced the Hon. Sango led EXCO was conducted by the Electoral committee of our Great party and supervised by INEC, and the security agencies and as such, those parading themselves as Plateau PDP EXCO outside the legitimate Hon. Sango led EXCO are economical with the truth and need to retrace their steps.

The Greater Together Team appreciates the efforts of the State Executive towards reforming and repositioning the party towards greater exploits and do pledge its unflinching support to the Hon. Sango led EXCO and do implore on all PDP faithfuls to give maximum support to the EXCO.

The Greater Together Team is willing and ever ready to stand with Hon. Sango led EXCO and our Dear Party come what come may.
