Greater Together Holds Strategic Meeting, Raises Concern On Key Governance Issues

The Legacy Group, Greater Together Network, a brainchild of Late Sen. GNS Pwajok has held a strategic meeting with PDP Governorship Aspirants in Plateau State with the desire to unite them for victory in forthcoming elections.

The group appreciates the efforts put in place by the PDP Plateau State Executives under the leadership of Hon. D. T. Sango. They are of the belief that his capacity is capable of leading the party to victory.

Greater Together Network condemned in strong possible terms the worsening insecurity in Plateau State and across the Nation which has led to loss of lives and property. The questioned the silence of the State and FG on the unabated killings.

The group also commended the effort of the Federal government on fight against corruption but observed that rule of law must be respected and strictly adhered to.

The frowned at the inability of Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission to conduct Local Government Elections in the State to get elected representatives at the third tier of government.

Greater Together Network Council commended the passage of the Not To Young To Run Bill into Law, a Bill sponsored by a PDP Member, Rep. Tony Nwulu.

They also raised alarm on the number of uncollected Permanent Voters’ Cards and admonished stakeholders to drive campaign to sensitize the public on the need to get their processed PVCs.

These were contained in a Communique signed by its Chairman, Hon. Sunday Niagwan and Secretary, Hon. Pam Gyang which was made available to Viewpoint Nigeria as shown below:
