The Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mal. Nasiru El-Rufai has called for collaboration with Plateau State in order to overcome the security challenges confronting the two States who he described as “Brothers”

He said the two States are not only neighbours but are both faced with horrific violent attacks.

Gov. El-rufai hinted that the two States will work in synergy and brainstorm on how to tackle the insecurity confronting them.
He lauded the commitment of Gov. Lalong in restoring peace in Plateau State.

He made these known in Jos, the State Capital when he visited to sympathize with the State over the killings in the State.

Gov. Simon Lalong represented by the Deputy Governor, Prof. Sonni Tyoden who received the Governor of Kaduna State appreciated him for identifying with the people of the State in their trying moment.

He said the two States have long standing historical connections and said the visit is encouraging and has the propensity of lessening the burden.

Prof. Tyoden said the Country is under siege and harped on the need for patriotic citizens to unite to overcome those posing threat to national security and unity.
