The Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council, Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa has described the landmark victory of Gov. Caleb Mutfwang at the Supreme Court on Friday 12th January, 2024 that upheld his election as the duly elected Governor of Plateau State in the 18th March, 2023 Gubernatorial Election as the Will of God for the Citizens of Plateau State.
Hon. Sati Shuwa made this known in a congratulatory message he personally signed and made available to this medium.
According to him, Gov. Mutfwang remained resolute while the legal fireworks lasted, which to him depicted exemplary leadership and charisma which have attracted the Citizens to him.
According to him, the people of Plateau State are very proud of Governor Mutfwang and his leadership style that is yielding positive results to the State.
“This victory is well deserved and has put to rest the long legal battle since your victory having gotten the mandate of the Citizens of Plateau State.
“Since your assumption of Office, we have seen your passion and desire to have a more united, peaceful and State that is prosperous as it were.
“We want to appreciate God for this resounding victory and pray that you will continue on the path of transforming Plateau State and taking it to the desired height.
“This victory is for the entire State and it has further deepened our nascent democracy and has multiplier effect on the mindset of the People about the judiciary.
“It is our earnest prayer that God will give you the needed wisdom to lead and achieve your campaign promises to the good Citizens of Plateau State.
“I wish to call on the Citizens of Riyom Local Government Area and Plateau State to give the necessary support to this government to be able to entrench good governance and provide dividends of democracy to the Citizens of Plateau”
He concluded by lauding the Justices of the Supreme Court who according to him dispense justice upholding the truth and their integrity without compromise.
