The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt condolences to his Deputy Governor, Hon. Mrs. Josephine Piyo, on the tragic passing of her devoted driver, David Yakubu Gbwan.
In a condolence message, Governor Mutfwang expressed his deep sympathy to David’s widow, children, and the entire Gbwan family, urging them to find comfort in the steadfast love and peace of Christ Jesus during this difficult time.
Governor Mutfwang remarked that David’s sudden departure has left a deep vacuum not only within the Deputy Governor’s circle but also among the people of Riyom Local Government Area and the entire Plateau State. Acknowledging the irreplaceable role David played, he noted that his passing is a loss deeply felt across the state.
Reflecting on David’s legacy, the Governor commended his unwavering dedication and commitment to his duties, recognizing his role as an invaluable support to the Deputy Governor. Describing his passing as a profound tragedy, Governor Mutfwang praised David’s life of service to God, humanity, and Plateau State, noting his significant contributions to the “Time is Now” administration. He emphasized David’s exemplary devotion to his family, faith, and community, qualities that have left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
On behalf of his family, the government, and the peace-loving people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his deepest sympathies to Her Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Mrs. Josephine Piyo, as well as to David’s widow, children, and the entire bereaved family.
