Gov. Mutfwang Meet Stakeholders from Jos/Bukuru Metropolis in an Effort to Strengthen Greater Unity and Peace

In his continuing efforts to enhance the security of lives and promote peaceful coexistence in Plateau State, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has convened an expanded meeting with critical stakeholders in the Jos and Bukuru metropolis.

The meeting is coming at the heels of the national protests and the curfew imposed on Jos-Bukuru metropolis.

Addressing the stakeholders at the Old Government House Rayfield, Governor Mutfwang expressed his strong conviction that a new Plateau, premised on peace, unity, and prosperity, is achievable.

He urged all stakeholders to put aside their differences and embrace one another to build a progressive and united Plateau, which will be the envy of all, despite the state’s diversity.

“It is possible for us to build a new Plateau. We must put aside our differences and embrace each other to create a conducive working atmosphere to grow our economy. It is my desire that we should have a common understanding.

‘We must collectively work to build Jos because when Jos is peaceful, the entire Plateau will be peaceful. We are trusting God that the glorious days when people came to Jos for holidays and commercial activities will return,” he stated.
