The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has joined numerous admirers, well-wishers, and associates in felicitating with Barr. Ibrahim James Pam, Chairperson of the World Bank Inspection Panel, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
Gov. Mutfwang in a heartfelt congratulatory message signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Gyang Bere described Barr. Pam as a forward-looking and distinguished legal luminary, an accomplished international lawyer whose immense contributions have strengthened the integrity of global financial institutions.
He extolled the sterling qualities of Barr. Pam saying he is an accomplished lawyer, analyst, and investigator with a wealth of leadership experience and specialization in the investigation of mass crimes, human rights abuses, fraud, and financial crimes.
He further noted his expertise in internal oversight and accountability within international institutions, describing him as a worthy son of Plateau who continues to make the State proud on the global stage.
The Governor highlighted Barr. Pam’s illustrious career spanning over three-and-a-half decades, marked by extensive experience in international law and development, climate finance integrity, and environmental and social accountability.
According to him, Barr. Pam’s invaluable contributions to international governance and development, as well as his enduring service to Plateau State, remain indelible, with his work helping to align global policies with the aspirations and daily needs of nations.
Governor Mutfwang further commended Barr. Pam as a model of humility, wisdom, and vision, whose leadership, resilience, and patriotic spirit have touched countless lives. He lauded his steadfast commitment to the ideals of love, unity, justice, and public service.
