Gov. Lalong’s executive assistant express shock over demise of Plateau illustrious citizens

Executive Assistant to the Governor of Plateau State and State Focal Person, Social Investment Programme SIP, Dr Sumaye Hamza has expressed shock over the demise of some Plateau State illustrious citizens recently.
In a statement in Jos the state capital she described as a great blow the sudden death of the Director Of Press and Public Affairs to the Governor, Mr Emmanuel Samuel Nanle as well as the Nigerian Ambassador to the State of Korea, Dr Bawa Abdullahi Wase which occurred within the space of a few days.
She particularly recalled with nostalgia her close collaboration with the late Nanle which culminated in the numerous successes recorded in the N-Power and other components of the Social Investment Programme in the state and described him as a gentle, hardworking, kind, eloquent and resourceful partner in the rescue administration.
Sumaye Hamza regretted that already areas of more collaboration had started between the office of the State Focal Person and the Directorate Of Press and Public Affairs on how to draw up plans so as to improve on the enrollment status of youths and the unemployed graduates as well as school pupils and the vulnerable within the state while identifying his role as critical in it.
She however said the programme will build on some of the support rendered by him so that his legacies will remain.
In the same vain,the statement has also described the death of another illustrious son of the state and Nigeria’s Ambassador to the State of Qatar, Dr Bawa Abdullahi Wase as devastating considering the fact that the state was still mourning the demise of an aide to the Governor, The Late Emmanuel Samuel Nanle.
She described the Late Ambassador as an accomplished gentleman who has paid his dues for the growth and development of Plateau State and Nigeria which culminated in his appointment as an Ambassador and subsequently posted to Qatar by President Muhammadu Buhari.
She sympathized with the Executive Governor of Plateau State,Rt Hon Dr,Simon Bako Lalong, immediate families of the deceased and people of Plateau State, praying God to grant their souls repose stressing that it is yet another moment for citizens of the state to rally round one another regardless of differences and move forward.
