Gov. Lalong Welcomes over 2000 Youth Corp Members to Plateau State

Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state has charged Corps members sent to carry out their service year to strive hard to surpass the achievements of their predecessors in their places of their primary assignments in his state.

Represented at the Closing ceremony of the Orientation camp of 2019 batch B CORPERS Members by his Deputy Governor Professor Sonnie Tyoden after the 3 weeks Orientation course at the Camp, Governor Lalong charged the Youth corps members to serve as vanguards of positive change and at the same time respect the customs and traditions of their host communities on the Plateau.

He advised the Corps members to be security conscious around them while in their places of primary assignments and assured them that the state government has put in place adequate security to ensure their through the one year service in the state.

Governor Lalong called on organizations that the Youth Corpers suppose to service in their places to accept them in good faith and provide conducive atmosphere for them to carry out their mandatory assignments on the Plateau.

He urged them to accept their postings to their places of assignments in good faith without any hesitation .

Over 2,000 Corpers passed out of the Orientation camp at Mangu Local government council of the state.
