Gov Lalong vows to alleviate plights of downtrodden in Plateau

Plateau state governor Simon Lalong yesterday said his administration is committed to tackling poverty and alleivating the plights of the downtrodden in the society .
Lalong made this known when he paid an unscheduled visit to some orphanage homes in Jos the state capital .
He said the All Progressive Congress led administration is determined to reduce poverty among the populace in his state , adding that human capital development is key in his administration.
Lalong who lamented the deplorable state of some facilitates in the state owned orphanage home Aisha Maina orphanage home ,vowed to uplift the edifice.
He also said the Aisha Maina orphanage clinic would soon be equipped with drugs .
“The government of All Progressive Congress (APC) is a government for all segments of society on the Plateau. It is our duty to provide for all citizens of the state including these children in special care home.
Lalong also vowed to donate some food items to the orphanage home from his personal funds..
