The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has approved the appointment of Chairmen and Members of Boards, Parastatals, Commissions and Governing Councils of Tertiary institutions in Plateau State.

Governor Lalong said the members have been appointed based on their experience, track record of achievements and loyalty to the State and the APC Rescue Administration.

He charges them to bring to bear their wealth of experience in giving direction and focus to the Boards, Parastatals, Commissions and Governing Councils with a view to ensuring that the vision of the government is achieved.

Governor Lalong said their appointment is coming at a time when the State is dealing with COVID-19 and its economic consequences which has necessitated the harnessing of the human and natural potentials of the State to mitigate the situation and deliver the dividends of democracy to the citizens.

While wishing them success in their new assignments, the Governor advised them to be guided by the extant laws and provisions guiding their appointments and avoid any act that will stifle the activities of the agencies under their supervision.

In a statement by his Director of Press & Public Affairs, Dr. Makut Simon Macham the Governor hinted that details of the appointments will be released by the Secretary to Government of the State Danladi Abok Atu.
