The gubernatorial candidate of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state, Senator Gyang Pwajok has condemned the continuous attacks on Plateau communities calling it an orchestrated war against the peace loving people of the state.

He was speaking in Jos and reacting to the resumed incessant attacks in the northern zone of the state and the killings that took place in Kadarko district in Wase Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

Pwajok who is also the senator representing Plateau North stated that there are external forces bent on causing crisis in the state by letting communities turn against each other. He refuted the claims by the military that the resumed attacks were as a result of cattle theft or disagreement between nomads and farmers.

The senator called on relationship building between communities to check the incidents of attacks. He called on Plateau people regardless of faith, ethnicity or party affiliation to come together and find a solution to the happenings.
