As Nigeria today Wednesday 15th January, 2020 observed the 2020 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD), the Gbong Gwom Jos and Chairman Plateau State Joint Traditional Council, His Royal Majesty Da (Dr) Jacob Gyang Buba also took part in the event which held at Joseph Gomwalk Secretariat Jos, Plateau State.
The Paramount Ruler said the day was set aside to remember, celebrate and honor the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our Nation and Freedom.
He paid special tributes and poured encomiums on the fallen heroes who fought to keep Nigeria a united entity and commended those still on the front line making sacrifices for a united, secured and safer Nation.
Gbong Gwom Jos commended the Armed Forces for putting their lives on the line to ensure national unity, security and to protect the territorial integrity of the Nation.
He also took part in wreath laying.
