Hon. Dr Yusuf Gagdi, representing the . (PKK) Federal Constituency, has called on Christians to embrace unity and mutual understanding as they celebrate Christmas.

In a video broadcast shared across social media platforms, Gagdi described the season as a divine reminder of the power of love through sacrifice and hope born in humility. He noted that the birth of Jesus Christ serves as a testament that light can emerge even in the most difficult circumstances—a message he deemed particularly relevant for Nigeria today.

Reflecting on his tenure, the lawmaker reaffirmed his dedication to the welfare of his constituents.”I have remained committed to the development of PKK through consistent interventions in education, security, water projects, and empowerment programs for women and youth,” Gagdi stated. He assured the community that he remains focused on their needs, pledging to continue his service with compassion.

Gagdi placed a heavy emphasis on social cohesion, urging citizens to look past their differences to secure a better future.”Let us reject division, embrace tolerance, and continue to build bridges of understanding across faiths and communities,” he said, noting that despite varying backgrounds, the people share a common destiny.

Beyond his verbal message, the lawmaker marked the season with a significant humanitarian outreach. At his constituency office in Pankshin, Gagdi oversaw the distribution of over 750 bags of rice and ₦80 million in cash support.The aid was distributed among traditional and church leaders, political groups, and youth and women’s organizations across the three local government areas of the constituency to ensure a joyful celebration for families
