The group Plateau Youth G-17 Peace and progressive Forum has described the demise of Sen. John Shagaya who does in a ghastly motor accident as colossal.

The group in a condolence message signed by its Convener and made available to Viewpoint epitomized Late Shagaya as an agent of national unity, cohesion and one who fought to keep Nigeria as one.

The message goes thus:

LETTER OF CONDOLENCE TO SEN. JOHN NANZIP SHAGAYA

Plateau Youth G-17 Peace and Progressive Forum wish to extend its condolences and sympathy to the family of Senator John Shagaya, Langtang North LGA, the Taroh Nation and the entire good people of Plateau State on the passing on of Senator John Shagaya in a ghastly motor accident along Langtang-Pankshin Road on Sunday 11th February, 2018.

Sen. John Shagaya will be missed considering his contributions to the growth of Plateau Southern Zone, Plateau State, Nigeria and the positive military roles you played in Africa continent.

You have proven to be an elder statesman who has the interest of Plateau, Nigeria and Africa at heart.

May your soul rest in peace and May God in his infinite mercy console your family, the Taroh nation, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

In this time of grief, our hearts and prayers are with you while praying for quick recovery to the injured.
