Reports reaching our news desk indicates that an attack occurred in Dong village of Jos North LGA this evening and two individuals were confirmed by eye witnesses to have been shot and several others wounded.

It however remains unclear whether the individuals who were shot have died or are in critical conditions (as information is still trickling in at the time of filing in this report).

Eye witnesses who spoke to ViewPointNigeria’s correspondent however confirmed that they heard sounds of sporadic gun fire emanating from the heart of the village, and two individuals were seen sprawled on the floor, but it remains unclear if they had died or were simply injured by bullets.
