Former Governor of Plateau State, Sen. Joshua Dariye Felicitates With Muslim Ummah on the Occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud

Former Plateau State Governor Senator Joshua Chibi Dariye felicutates with the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid Maulud commemorating the birth of Prophet Muhammad.

Senator Dariye who extol the virtues of the holy prophet implored adherents to emulate his virtuous life which exemplifies love, compassion, forgiveness, kindness, forgiveness and alms giving.

He appealed to the Islamic faithful to use the occasion and pray for the corporate existence of the country which is currently being threatened by the high rate of ethnic militias insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and other forms of crimes and criminality.

The former governor called for prayers for leadership at all levels as they proffer lasting solutions to the myriads of challenges facing the country noting that what Nigeria is passing through at the moment will only be a thing of the past with the support of all and sundry.

He appealed for unity peaceful coexistence, tolerance and love as adherents coexist with another irrespective of faith or creed so as to fast-track the growth and development of the country.

“The festival is a significant occasion in the Muslim calendar and I urged all adherents to use this opportunity to renew the faith in the Islamic religion and live a life worthy of emulation” Dariye stressed.

Senator Dariye specifically charge them to rededicate themselves to the service of God and humanity as they imbibe and practice the virtues of the holy prophet who live an unblemished life during his time on earth.
