Following his victory at the just concluded Plateau PDP House of Assembly primaries, Hon. Yakubu Choji –the incumbent member representing Jos North West and Chairman of the Budget and Appropriation committee spoke to ViewPointNigeria.

Hon. Choji gave thanks to God for his grace and favour –saying his victory at the polls was not because of his political savviness but simply because of the grace of God which is upon his life and that of his constituents.

He said he was deeply humbled by the mandate given to him by his people and that he does not take the confidence they have bestowed on him lightly. He promised that he would continue to be a great servant to his constituents –representing their interest in the House of Assembly and listening to their pleas and concerns.

About the projects he had executed within the community, he said the beneficiaries have been very appreciative of his efforts and that they have asked that he continues to assist in other areas. Specifically, the areas of scholarship for the under privilege.

He promised that if he becomes a principal officer in the next House of Assembly, he’d seek to do more for his constituency and for Plateau state.
