FALSE ALARM AGAINST SENATOR I. D. GYANG BY SO-CALLED “CONCERNED BEROM YOUTH.”

The attention of Senator I. D. Gyang has been drawn to a statement issued and widely circulated by a group going by the name “Concerned Berom Youth” in which they accused the Senator of sponsoring the BYM President to engage in what they term “unwholesome practice inimical to the progress of the BEROM Nation.”

For the avoidance of doubt, signatories of the widely circulated statement are;

  1. Rw Dagam Buda.
  2. Rw Lawrence Chuwang Zi Loyak.
  3. Rw Pam Chollom.
  4. Mr Mali Samuel Jok.

Since it is a basic principle that he who alleges has the burden to proof, the authors of the statement, by making such wild, grievous and weighty allegations against Senator Gyang, thereby painting him in bad light in the eyes of the public and creating a negative impression of his person locally, nationally and globally, should be prepared to substantiate their allegations before a court of competent jurisdiction.

Senator Gyang restates his believe in the youth but is not one given to frivolity and would therefore not allow nor encourage the culture of impunity, indecency and disrespect.
