Contractors handling the Jos Airport have been charged to finish on time and hand over the project. This call was made by the Managing Director of Federal Aviation Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Mr George Uriesi in Jos the Plateau State Capital.

The Managing director in the company of other directors visited the airport on Thursday morning to inspect and see how work was progressing. He said that the 2012 remodelling project got a boost with the commissioning of the General Aviation Terminal (GAT) in Lagos and that other airport undergoing remodelling will be finished and commissioned before the end of the year. Uriesi confirmed that Kano and Benin Airports have been finished and are currently enjoying the benefits of the project.
