Ex VC Unijos cautions against incisive preaching.

Religious leaders have been cautioned to guard against politically incisive messages that creates division among the people.
The former Vice Chancellor of the university of Jos, Professor Monday Mangwant stated this in Jos at the on going Peace and Security Conference organized by the Plateau Peace Building Agency.
Mangwant who condemned the killings of persons by gunmen suspected to be herdsmen further said “The crisis is not about Lalong or any politician, and I urge all citizens of Plateau to support the government to ensure that lasting peace is restored in the state”.
The conference which ends today has the theme, “Resurgence of Violent Attacks in Plateau state, Forging a Multi Stakeholders in Partnership for Peace and Security.
It was declared opened by Gov Simon Lalong with keynote address by Charge de Affaires of the United States Embassy Abuja David Young, amongst other speakers
