Kingsley Odinaka Obeta, an ambassador of medical laboratory science and an undergraduate student of medical laboratory sciences, University of Jos is in ecstatic mood as he received scholarship award to settle his tuition fees from Hon Dachung Musa Bagos over the weekend.
Hon Bagos, a renowned philanthropist, politician, humanitarian and youth activist had hinted during the last scientific conference of the Plateau state branch of Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN) that he will support the student in his academic pursuit in view of the remarkable contributions of the student in health care advocacy and awareness, notable strides that made AMLSN Plateau branch to decorate the student as Ambassador of Medical Laboratory Sciences.
While receiving the cash donation which was in excess of the tuition fee, Amb Kingsley Obeta rained words of praise and gratitude on the philanthropist and wished him success in his current political expedition.
It will be recalled that Hon Bagos who is seeking to represent Jos South/Jos East in the Federal House of Representatives, Abuja in the next election is committed to educational, health and social intervention with innumerable students in his scholarship scheme and several community projects in many local government areas in Plateau state
AMLSN Plateau branch acknowledges this gesture and urged Amb Obeta to work harder and do even more, stressing that it pays to be hardworking
