Eid-el-Fitr – Senator Dadu’ut congratulates Muslims, sues for peaceful coexistence

Senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly Professor Dame Nora Ladi Dadu’ut on Wednesday congratulates the Muslims faithfuls in her Senatorial District and in the country at large on the occasion of the Eid-El-Fitr.

Dadu’ut in statement issued in Jos called on her constituents to continue praying for the country and work for sustainable peace.

The statement reads that “I congratulate Muslim faithful in my Senatorial district and across the nation on the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr after the successful observance of the fasting period during the Holy Month of Ramadan.”

Senator Dadu’ut urge all Muslims in her Senatorial District to continue to work for the sustainable peace and security of our nation.

In her words “As we celebrate, we must not relent in displaying the discipline, peace, discretion, piety and good neighbourliness that we observed during the fasting period.”

She further said she would continue to preach peaceful co-existence in her senatorial district and put the interest of her people first at all times .

“We also must not relent in our prayers for the unity of our nation, and the peaceful coexistence of all Nigerians.”

“I will continue to work to better the lives of my people especially women, the downtrodden and the aged,” she further added.
