Senator I. D. Gyang of Plateau North and Deputy Chairman Senate Committee on Defence rejoices with the Muslim Ummah worldwide over the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan Fast and Prayers.

Senator Gyang notes that the Ramadan fast engaged the Muslim Ummah in self denial, penance, abstinence, intense prayers and good works which is being culminated with the Eid-El-Fitr Sallah celebration.

It is the Senator’s wish and expectation that the sobriety, piety, and all the good virtues and lessons of the Ramadan will be internalized and sustained and the nation will be the better for it.
