Dr. Simon Mwadkwon, the Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency and Senate Candidate of the PDP for Plateau North has lauded the judgment of Justice Christy Dabup which acquitted and discharged His Excellency Da Sen. Jonah Jang, CON of all the 17-count charges levelled against him by the Anti-graft Agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today 2nd September, 2022 as the will of the Most High God.

Speaking shortly after the judgment, the Federal Lawmaker who was at the Court in solidarity said Sen. Jang deserve awards and commendations putting into account how he served the State and Nation meritoriously as Military Administrator of the defunct Gongola State, Benue State & Plateau State as Executive Governor.

“This judgment has vindicated the Architect of Modern Plateau State and an Icon of Development, His Excellency Da Sen. Jonah David Jang and put to permanent rest the wrong accusation of the elder Statesman and Nationalist who has distinguished himself through selfless and exceptional services” he said.

Dr. Mwadkwon prayed God to grant the former Governor long life and sound health as he continue to mentor and give right counsel for the unity, peace and development of the State and Nation.
