CONDOLENCE STATEMENT ON THE DEMISE OF HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS, ALHAJI ADAMU IDRIS, THE REKNA OF BASHAR

26th September, 2022.

It is with a deep sense of loss but with total submission to the will of Almighty Allah that we received the shocking news of the death of His Royal Highness, Alhaji Adamu Idris, the Rekna of Bashar.

On behalf of our candidate, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, his running mate Hon. Pam Bot-Mang and the Generation Next Movement, we commiserate with the Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, Deputy Speaker of Federal House of Representatives, the Bashar Royal family, the Wase traditional council and the government and good people of Wase LGA over this irreparable loss.

We pay glowing tribute to His Royal Highness who lived a very long life dedicated to the service of his people, promoting peaceful coexistence and religious harmony among Plateau people and Nigerians at large. He carried out this onerous responsibility with utmost diligence until his demise.

Plateau State will profoundly miss his unwavering service and dignified presence. May God provide strength to the Royal Family during this difficult time. And may Allah grant his kind soul Aljanna Firdausi.
