Dr. Chris Kwaja Bags Award of Honour From ICIN

Dr. Chris Kwaja, a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Centre for Peace and Security Studies, Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola, Adamawa State, Nigeria and Chairperson – Rapporteur to the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Working Group on Mercenaries has bagged an award by the Islamic Counselling Initiative of Nigeria (ICIN) in recognition of his excellence in imparting knowledge and service to humanity.

The award presentation held on Sunday 6th October, 2019 at Usuji Event Centre Jos, Plateau State.

The group commended the award Recipient for his immense contribution to peace building, unity, education, national cohesion & development.

Dr. Chris Kwaja appreciated the group for finding him worthy of the honor and said the award will spur him to serve humanity more.

He called on Nigerians to be more patriotic and contribute their quota to the growth & development of Nigeria.

Dr. Kwaja harped on the need for inter-faith harmony saying it is a key pathway to the unity of Nigeria.

He maintained that the critical roles of religious Leaders to nation building cannot be overstressed.
