Dong/Kwi Unprovoked Attacks: One too Many – Haruna John

An House of Representatives Aspirant for Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency Plateau State, Mr. Haruna John has described the unprovoked attacks and killings that occurred in Dong Community Jos North LGA and Kwi Village of Riyom LGA as one too many.

Mr. John posited that when people thought that they should trust law enforcement agencies that the circular that appeared on the internet weeks ago was just for propaganda sake and nothing more, Jos North and Riyom LGAs woke up with tears in eyes and intense grief in their souls; for the murder of their neighbours, families and friends.

The Aspirant condemned in the strongest term possible the unprovoked attack on peace loving people of Dong community of Jos North LGA and Kwi community of Riyom LGA where according to reports, scores of innocent people where murdered.

“It is not time for blame game but a time to close ranks, mourn the death and find ways to bring an end to this senseless killings once for all”

“More worrisome is how the government seem incapacitated to bring an end to attacks on its hardworking taxpayers thus making it appear to be that the government don’t have any regards for the social contract between it and taxpayers” he said.

He called on the people to massively organise themselves to press home their demands (state police) to their elected representatives at the ongoing constitution review process.

He prayed God to accept and grant the souls of the departed eternal peace.
