The Director of Press affairs to the Plateau state government; Mr Emmanuel Nanle has solicited the cooperation of professional’s bodies in the state to partner with the government towards the development of the state.

Nanle disclosed this during interactive sessions with online newspapers, bloggers and social media activists etc, on how to curtail and proffer solution to the global economic meltdown.

He maintained that Plateau state government deployed N5 million for patching of pot holes to help reduce the hardship being experienced by motorists in the state capital.

Nanle lamented that dwindling revenue generation base in Plateau state has drastically dropped, and that this has affected many sectors of the economy -especially the ongoing road construction projects and the payments of workers salary.

He stressed that the government of Barrister Simon Lalong has promised to inject more funds  into the tourism sector to encourage more investment from foreign investors etc.

Mr Emmanuel Nanle pledged that the administration plans to build  science and technical schools in each of the three senatorial zones of the state to improve the falling standard of education etc.

According to him, Plateau state tops the list of 19 northern states with number of girls enrolment into schools.

He added the interactive is a platform that will create opportunity for all these administrators but synergy with government on area of development.

Nanle emphasized that youth restiveness and use of  social media if not checked can cause many   social ill.
