Plateau State Commandant Operation Safe Haven, Major General Anthony Atolagbe Redeployed

Viewpoint Nigeria has confirmed that the Defence Headquarters has approved for redeployment the Plateau State Commandant, Joint Task Force code named Operation Safe Haven, Maj. Gen. Anthony Atolagbe to the Defence Headquarters with immediate effect.

He is to resume work at the Defence Headquarters as Director of Campaign Planning.

Maj. Gen. Atolagbe is being replaced by Major General Augustine Chris chukwudi Agundu.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Gabriel Olonisakin has approved the appointment of Major General Augustine Chris chukwudi Agundu as the Commander, Operation Safe Haven. He is to take over from Major General Anthony Atolagbe who has been redeployed to Defence Headquarters and appointed Director of Campaign Planning.

The posting which takes immediate effect is in order to reinvigorate Operation Safe Haven to meet contemporary challenges.
