Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council,Hon.Dr.Dayyabu Yusuf Garga says fallen heroes of Nigeria should hold a special place in our hearts as a Nation as we continue to pray and support families they left behind.

Speaking to Journalists as part of this years Armed Forces Remembrance Day which is being observed,Dayyabu Garga said the sacrifices of these gallant personnel is what has kept Nigeria going as a nation and placed it rightly among the great nations of today.

Extolling their virtues the Kanam LGC boss with nostalgia reechoed that the families they have left behind should be a great focus for those of us still alive.

He further said those still alive must also be catered for as they should begin to get their rewards here on earth instead of hereafter.

Hon.Dr.Dayyabu Yusuf Garga added that the Local Administration in Kanam has plans that will be implemented to draw a comprehensive list of those heroes alive and dead and then partner well with the legion in the area to ensure they are catered for within available resources as well as have widows and children of the deceased empowered with skills.

Garga challenged all to show love and sacrifice for the benefit of these persons saying in such a way they to will fit well into the society they sacrificed their lives to protect.
