A former immigration boss and Plateau state 2023 hopeful for little reyfield, David Shikfu Parradang has joined the fray of stakeholders and well wishers in congratulating Rt. Hon. George Edwards Daika over Daika’s emergence as the candidate to hoist the flag of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming senatorial by-election in Plateau Southern Zone. In a congratulatory message personally signed by him, Parradang poured glowing adulations and encomiums on Daika as the privileged candidate of the PDP ackonowledging that his emergence is a cheering news considering his widespread acceptance not only in the Southern Zone but across the length and breadth of Plateau state and beyond.
While reiterating the position of many stakeholders of the party, Parradang called on Daika to consider his emergence at the PDP primaries as a nomination from the party rather than an election victory urging him to press hard to win the unltimate prize which is a landslide victory at the secondaries on 31st October, 2020.
Details of the congratulatory message reads thus:
DAVID SHIKFU PARRADANG, OFR, mni, CGI (rtd).
7th September, 2020.
Congratulatory Message to Rt. Hon. George Daika.
The news of your emergence as the flag bearer of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), for the forthcoming senatorial by-election in Plateau Southern Zone is quite a cheering one given your wide range of acceptance not only in the Southern Zone but across a broader spectrum covering the whole of Plateau state and beyond.
As was noted by most stakeholders at the heels of your emergence, I want to reiterate that you should consider this as a nomination from the party rather than an election victory; a first step towards the bigger picture which is victory in the secondary election.
While congratulating you for your nomination at the primaries as the PDP flag bearer, I pray for a successful outing at the polls come October 31st, 2020 with a landslide victory.
Once again, congratulations.
