The convener of the Plateau Youth G17 Peace and Progressive Forum and Founder of the Bagos Foundation Mr Dachung Musa Bagos has been conferred with the Prestigious Award as the Exponent of the Medical Laboratory Practice in Nigeria by the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria Plateau State Branch for his selfless and humanitarian service in Plateau State.
The award was presented to Mr Dachung Musa Bagos alongside Governor Simon Lalong as the Ambassador of Peace and Good Governance during the investiture and Merit Award night which took place at the Hill Station Hotel Jos.
Mr Bagos is never daunted by the Size of any challenge nor ready to compromise his ideal especially giving to the less privileged, it is for him a call that imposes grave responsibilities on men and binds them to their times.
Hon. Ezekiel Afong member representing Pengana Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly while Presented the Award as Guest of Honour commended Bagos to continue with humanitarian Service to his Community.
Speaking shortly after receiving the award, Bagos expressed delight for being selected for such honour, stressing that it would spur him to further contribute his effort to the development of not only Plateau State, but Nigeria at large.
He noted that his foundation has been working tirelessly in order to enhance the well-being of widows and orphans in the Society, saying life is meaningless without Service to humanity. He thanked his Wife and family for their support and cooperation and however, dedicated the award to God.
Chairman Plateau Chapter of AMLSN Mr Bot Yakubu Sunday noted that the idea was conceived in order to celebrate the importance of service to humanity and encourage Nigerians who are performing excellently in their various endeavours.
