Citizens of Barkin Ladi LGA have been call upon to support the measures taken by the Lalong led Administration in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 resulting in the lockdown order given.

The call was made by the Management Committee Chairman of Barkin Ladi LGC, Barr Ezekiel Mandyau while in a chat with the information unit of the council in his office recently.

According to the Council Boss, the appeal has become necessary so that the covid-19 can be contained within the shortest possible time.

Hon. Mandyau appealed to the people of Barkin Ladi LGA to cooperate and ensure total lockdown from Thursday midnight to Wednesday next week midnight.

In his words, “showing understanding with the difficulties and the challenges that will be faced while the lockdown last, it is better than the ravaging effect of the virus as seen in some countries were the mortality rate is almost a thousand death daily.

In a related development” Hon. Mandyau appeal to the people of Barkin Ladi to return to God honestly and pray fervently for the land to be healed and bring us out of the present pandemic which is a global disaster and calamity.
