Rt. Hon. Nuhu Abok has been reinstated as Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly by Justice M. L Musa of Plateau State High Court 6 on Monday 3rd April, 2023.

The Court awarded the sum of N1.5million as cost of appearance and the sum of N138,000 as cost of filing the matter against the defenders.

It will be recalled that Rt. Hon. Abok was impeached by the House in October 2021. However, in its judgment, the Court upheld the submissions of the complainants that the impeachment was illegal and therefore null, void and of no effect.
