A group under the auspice of Concern PDP Muslim Youth Council has called on the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to consider the Senator-elect Plateau North, Dr. Simon Mwadkwon for Principal position in the 10 National Assembly on account of his unwavering loyalty and support to the PDP.

Leader of the group, Alh. Muhammad Kabiru Garkuwa in a statement said “rewards and punishments are the two forms of incentives which are usually provided by group to individuals in order to keep them on the right track and to utilize their capacities to the maximum. It is essential for human efforts that it must be directed towards some incentive. An individual works in the right way in order to earn some reward. Sometimes he avoids doing because there is a punishment involved in it” he disclosed.

According to him, Hon. Simon Mwadkwon PhD is a refined Nigerian lawmaker, representing Riyom/Barkin Ladi Federal constituency and now elected into the Red Chamber to represent Plateau North Senatorial District.

He said If reward is anything to reckon with in human endeavor in order to get the movement going, then Dr. Simon Mwadkwon deserved to be placed on right track on top page of the movers in the Red chamber.

He hinted that the Concern PDP Muslims Youths Council is seeking the attention of our Party National Leadership to reward the said personality by enlisting him among the Principal officer in the 10th Senate.

While amplifying the view of the Concern PDP Muslin Youth through the leader Alh. Kabiru Muhammad Garkuwa called the attention of critical stakeholders in the PDP at the national level to do right and make proper placement to deserving people base on their resultant effects of just concluded election.

“Talking about his experiences, with superb dexterity, sportsmanship and his proven track-record in Green Chamber, earned him a reputable legislative prowess, locally and internationally.

“Hon. Mwadkwon has demonstrated exemplary leadership qualities and and facilitated lots of developmental Bills, motions and projects at the said chamber which did not only influence his constituency but entire North Central zone in the state, with a special priority on Education, Health, Infrastructural development, Water and Electricity.

“Also worthy to mention among his achievements are, sponsorship of students (scholarship) Youths and Women empowerment among others.

“Indeed, Hon. Simon has carved a niche in Plateau State and the whole Country at large.

“It’s based on that as the President of this group and other compatriots feel Madkwon deserved to be rewarded with a Principal Office at the 10th Senate.

With two terms legislative experiences in 7th and 9th Assembly. Dr. Simon showcases his uncommon sacrifices, commitments, principles, loyalty and leadership styles. These are things that earned him an opportunity to return as Senator in National Assembly.

“We are rest assured that the good leadership of our dear Party will look into our call and heed to it. For the like of Hon. Simon Mwadkwon is a Pillar to reckon with” the group concluded.
