Special Adviser to the Governor of Plateau State on Youth Mobilization and Engagement Hon Hitler Pwajok ,on Wednesday lauded Governor Caleb Mutfwang for giving youths sense of belonging in the governance of the State.
He also extolled Governor Mutfwang for keeping his promises to the Youths of Plateau state .
Comrade Pwajok while speaking with our correspondent also commended Governor Mutfwang for his youth-friendly policies and programmes as well as their inclusion in various decision-making bodies in the state.
He congratulated all the Youths who emerged victorious in the People’s Democratic Party PDP Primaries recently .
He said “Governor Caleb has given us a sense of belonging in governance.”
“The governor’s disposition to issues that affect young people in the state has given us a sense of belonging and confidence in his administration,” he said.
” This he attested to based on the outcome of the PDP LGA primaries in the state which ushered in over 65% of Youths as candidates of the ruling party .
According to Comrade Pwajok worthy of mention are Hon. Pirfa Tyem, Hon. Silas Dung, Hon Salihu Ayuba and Hon Benard Alkali.
Others are Hon J. K. Chris , Hon Amalau Samuel, Hon Joshua Riti , Hon Bulus Ajiji , Hon Lapching Golime and Hon Felix Gonung and other candidates.
He added that “This is a clear demonstration of His Excellency’s desire, not just to keep to his campaigns promises, but to liberate the Youths and empower them adequately for global competition and achievements.
According to him, young people have never had it as good in the history of governance in Plateau State as the state executive council currently is constituted by 95 per cent of young people.
“We as Youths would continue to support the Bar Caleb Mutfwang led administration at all times “he added.
“I would continue to liaise with government and relevant agencies to give the youth a sense of belonging at all times ,he further said.
