Comrade Adankala who is the team leader of the RE-ENGINEERING THE UNION, bagged the prestigious award as Plateau state best Online campaign Team of the Year.

Jos.
Despite the challenges Covid-19 has posed to the entire world
and education in Nigeria, this group of dynamic and creative minds
have been a source of encouragement to students on the plateau and
also phenomenal in their activities. More than a campaign slogan,
The Re-engineering the Union Campaign has not only served as
a tool for advancing Danladi Joshua Adankala’s aspiration on
campus but it has grown into a movement and platform used to
impact on students and promote the use of social media for social good.
Receiving the award, Comrade Danladi Joshua Adankala’s who was accompanied by his Team members, Jossites and Well wishers appreciated and praised the organizers of PSMA for finding him worthy of the award through the nomination & online voting by Plateau citizens. He encouraged them to sustain the good works they are doing and urged those present to ensure the use the social media positively and use same to engender peace, unity, cohesion, prosperity and development of Plateau State & Nigeria at large.
He admonished them to avoid hate speeches, fake news and character assassination.
This is our victory, and a sign that we shall be victorious at the forthcoming SUG election 2020.
He said he never knew that the little he is doing in his little way is being noticed, recognized, appreciated, rewarded and celebrated.
He said the award will spur him to continue to do more and better in terms of campaigning for positive cause, such as campaign against rape, fake news etc
He thanked Plateau Social Media Awards (PSMA) for finding them worthy (all those nominated) for the great honor.

The event held on Sunday 12th July, 2020 at Greatlinks Gold & Base Jos, Plateau State due to the COVID-19 Protocols was preceded by Webinar Series with excellent presentations from Leaders of thoughts and Technocrats such as Chief Garba Pwul SAN, the DG National Orientation Agency (NOA) Alh. Garba Abari, the INEC Resident Commissioner Benue State Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe and the DG Plateau Information & Communication Technology Development Agency (PICTDA) Mr. David Daser.
